Student Poster Session
Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit proposals for poster presentations of original psychological research to the 2024 Georgia Psychological Association Annual Conference Student Poster Session. Awards for best graduate and undergraduate posters are sponsored by the Georgia Psychological Foundation.
GPA’s Annual Conference is the official meeting of the state association for psychologists. It is a multi-day event featuring workshops and keynote addresses on a variety of topics relevant to the science and practice of psychology. In 2024 the GPA Annual Conference will be held on April 27, 2024, in Gainesville, Georgia.
GPA and the Foundation would like to invite students who are interested in learning about and practicing skills in scholarly communication of empirical research to participate in our Student Poster Session for 2024. Accepted posters will be displayed at the GPA Annual Meeting in Gainesville, Georgia on April 27, 2024. We hope to represent a range of scientific methods and skill sets, as well as a range of undergraduate and graduate students from programs across Georgia. All students interested in learning and practicing these skills are encouraged to apply.
All submissions will be reviewed by psychologists who are members of the GPA Academic Affairs Committee. Notifications of acceptance will be sent February 19, 2024. Upon acceptance, each student presenter and faculty adviser will be sent a link to register separately for the 2024 Poster Session. To participate, at least one student presenter must be able to attend the poster session on April 27, 2024, in Gainesville, Georgia. Eligible presentations will be judged for monetary awards based on the poster and live presentation. Winners will be announced on April 27, 2024, during the Annual Conference.
The Georgia Psychological Foundation is providing two awards:
1) Best Undergraduate Student Poster
2) Best Graduate Student Poster

Abstract submission deadline: EXTENDED TO February 9, 2024 (5pm)
Acceptance decisions announced via email: February 19, 2024
Posters displayed and judged, and winners announced at GPA Annual Conference: April 27, 2024
